Most countries require your vessel to be connected to an official accounting office. The Global Link Network (GLN) maintains its own official accounting office in Switzerland – CH01. This makes a lot of things much simpler for you: a single office bills you for all of your communication activities worldwide – communication via the Global Link Network (GLN), satellite airtime and voice communication via the maritime radio stations.
