Swisscom Broadcast - Pic

Bernradio – coastal radio station

Bernradio is a globally active maritime radio station that has been operated by Swisscom Broadcast AG since 1 January 2009 on behalf of the Federal Office for National Economic Supply.
Swisscom Broadcast guarantees the operational and technical reliability of the shortwave service under all circumstances. In extraordinary circumstances situations (times of crisis or war that may occur in certain parts of the world) we are obligated to maintain the shortwave connections with ships flying the Swiss flag and other users. Data, voice and fax connections on shortwave will be operational even when satellite communications are difficult or unavailable.
